Making arrangements to tape the grand finale

To inform the public of our April Fools’ Day hoax we wanted to make a short video. Getting someone to tape the video was another challenge. You can’t just dial tape-a-video. There was a risk that someone would leak the story to the press and steal our thunder. A friend would have to help us out, someone we could trust. Pieter asked Floris Wolvetang from Golden Future video productions working out of Doesburg close to Arnhem where Pieter has his offices. Pieter had worked with Floris before and Pieter knew he could trust Floris. They talked about the story, the whole story. It was like confession. At first Floris could not believe our crazy scheme but he did like the idea and wanted to help us out. He was eager to do his share. We made arrangements to do the taping the following Monday. Floris would bring a friend to do the sound.
