Conference call (10:15 PM Dutch time)
A reporter from the WSJ, Steven and Pieter had a conference call. The call
lasted about an hour. The reporter was very thorough and wanted to know everything
about PGR, CBB and our software, legislation, possible clients that will
use The Honest Thief, our timing in getting information out to the press
and actually having a file-sharing service up and running. Once we got talking
about this it became apparent that Pieter had to mention that he had a “big”
US client. The reporter tried very hard to get Pieter to spill the beans
and tell her who this client was. He could not disclose this information.
Another big issue was whether we were actually for real. Although the reporter
expressed that she personally had no doubts, she did have to check and see
if we were who we said we were and if CBB and PGR are legitimate businesses.
The reporter asked if it was possible to have a reporter meet with Pieter.
Pieter told her that he would welcome this.
